Growing up in a family of tradesmen and mechanics, Hunter Dixon was immersed in a culture built around learning through fixing. He began his career serving in the United States Marine Corps as a diesel maintenance technician. After completing his military service, Hunter built a career in the automotive and diesel repair industry, spending more than 12 years as a full-service technician. Throughout his career, he has repaired everything from military-grade equipment to custom performance vehicles.

As the Advanced-Level Technician Instructor at Jumpstart, Hunter combines his passion and experience to help develop the next generation of technicians. He emphasizes personal pride not only in one’s work, but also in one’s character and personal growth. Hunter is committed to helping students become the best version of themselves both professionally and personally. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors and working on his own mechanical projects.
